Monster Chain Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026 (cloud saves added)

This policy describes how Ksivok Games handles information in the Android / Google Play version of Monster Chain (package com.ap.ksivok.games.monsterchain). Other games and web-portal versions may use different platform services and are not covered by this policy.

1. Game progress and Google Play Games

Monster Chain stores progress and preferences on your device: unlocked levels and stars, coins, hints, daily puzzle and daily gift progress, rules you have already seen, sound, graphics and motion settings, and records of in-app purchases (product IDs and purchase tokens) needed to deliver items and keep No Ads active. The game has no accounts of its own and does not upload your save file to a Ksivok Games server.

The Android game uses Google Play Games Services. It tries to sign in automatically with your Play Games profile, and Settings offers a manual sign-in. When you are signed in, the game saves a copy of the same progress data through Google's Saved Games service in the game's private application data area in your Google Drive account, so it can be restored on another device. When a cloud copy and this device differ, the game keeps the copy with more progress; earned stars, unlocked levels and purchases are never removed. The game uses your Play Games player ID only to tell whose progress a cloud copy is. Without sign-in the game works fully offline and progress stays on the device.

Google Play Games Services processes gamer identity, analytics and diagnostic information for its service, as described in Google's Play Games Services data disclosures. See also Google's Saved Games documentation.

Device or operating-system backup services may separately back up app data according to your device and account settings.

2. Advertising services

The game uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK for interstitial ads between levels and optional rewarded video ads, and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage applicable advertising privacy choices.

The ads SDK may process an IP address (including approximate location inferred from it), advertising ID and other device identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic/performance information. These data support advertising, measurement/analytics, and fraud prevention.

For Google's practices, see the Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures.

3. Analytics

The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played and where it needs improvement. It records gameplay events such as starting, winning or failing a level, using hints, continuing an attempt, opening the shop, ad offers and views, and purchases, together with the level number, moves and similar game values. The Firebase SDK also processes an app instance ID, device and app information, and approximate location derived from the IP address.

Analytics collection is off when the game is first installed and starts only after the advertising privacy step. Where Google's privacy message applies (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), analytics run in Google's consent mode with analytics and advertising storage denied, so no analytics identifiers are stored for those players. See Privacy and Security in Firebase.

4. In-app purchases

Optional purchases (No Ads, Premium, a starter pack and hint packs) are processed by Google Play. Google handles payment details; we never receive your card or billing information. The game receives purchase confirmations from Google Play (product, order and purchase token) and uses them to deliver items, prevent duplicate delivery, and restore No Ads after reinstalling. See the Google Payments Privacy Notice.

5. Purposes and recipients

Game progress is used to operate the game and, when you are signed in, to synchronize it through Google Saved Games. Advertising, analytics and purchase information is processed by Google and the advertising participants described in Google's notices and any applicable consent form. We use analytics reports in aggregate to balance levels, hints and ads. We do not sell your information and do not operate our own server for game data.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to answer your request. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or unnecessary personal information.

6. Your choices

Where required, the game presents Google's advertising privacy message on first launch. Players in regions where that message applies can reopen it at any time with the PRIVACY button in the game's Settings. Your choices may affect ad availability. Rewarded videos are optional; you can decline an offer and keep playing without its reward.

You can also reset or delete your advertising ID and manage advertising privacy controls in Android settings. Availability and names of these controls depend on your Android version. Changing advertising preferences does not necessarily stop all SDK processing or all ads.

7. Retention and deletion

You can delete local progress by using RESET PROGRESS in Settings (purchases stay active), by clearing Monster Chain's app storage in Android settings, or by uninstalling the app. A reset made while signed in also replaces the cloud copy. To delete the cloud copy and other Play Games data, use Google's instructions for deleting Play Games data. Firebase keeps analytics event data for the retention period configured under Google's policies; Google determines retention for advertising and payment information it processes. For access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights, contact us below. We retain correspondence only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations.

8. Security and international processing

According to Google's SDK disclosures, Mobile Ads SDK and Firebase data is encrypted in transit. Local progress relies on Android's app storage protections. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Google may process information in countries other than your own, subject to its privacy policy and applicable safeguards. Where consent is required for advertising processing, Google's privacy message offers the applicable choices.

9. Intended audience

Monster Chain is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. A store content rating is separate from this intended audience. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can assess and address the request.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the game or its data practices change. The current policy will be available on this page with its updated date.
